Costa Rica wastes 80% of its clean energy potential
With a capacity to generate 7.000 MW, but exploits only 1.521 MW Country wastes 80% of its clean energy potential
ICE claims that budget brakes limit the development of new projects
At the same time, ICE´s dependency on fossil fuels increases
Vanessa Loaiza N.vloaiza@nacion.com The country wastes 80% of its hydroelectric, wind, and geothermal potential to generate clean energy and instead, it produces with more expensive and contaminating fossil fuels.
